Sling Seal PVC and PVCO Pipe Gasket

The patented PVC/PVCO of the Sling Seal design maximizes sealing forces while optimizing pipe jointing forces. This design has a flexible, internal stiffening member, which is more resistant to dislodging than other sealing systems, as well as features which make it more resilient when separating jointed pipes.

The SLING™ Seal PVC/PVCO plastic pipe seal was developed using extensive non-linear Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This allowed the seal to be optimized for the best all-around performance prior to ever producing a single sample. The plastic pipe seal has been tested repeatedly to ensure it meets or exceeds ASTM D3139, AWWA C909, and FM1612.

The SLING™ Seal PVC/PVCO pipe gasket uses only the highest performing materials. Press-Seal Corporation developed an all new SBR compound to exceed all material requirements as set forth by ASTM F477 HH, while still adhering to NSF 61 and UL 157 to allow use in potable water systems.
